SYNOPSIS ›› On their 16th birthday, every Bennett witch comes into their powers. When Bonnie and Melissa's parents are killed in a plane crash, the two sister move to the seemingly idyllic town of Mystic Falls, Virginia to live with their cuckoo grandmother, Shelia, and her free-spirited niece, Lucy unsure if the two share their gift of magic. However, the sisters quickly learn that pretending to normal is the least of their problems. Mystic Falls turns out to be a hot bed of supernatural activity and with vampires to their left and vampires to their right--not to mention the hybrids and the witch hunters--the Bennett sisters don't know who to trust.
